Who should attend?

Executive and non-executive directors and HR professionals with responsibility for supporting appeal panels.

Objectives:

At the end of this course delegates will be able to:

  • understand the parameters and "what is at stake" when hearing appeals;
  • understand the current structure of unfair dismissal law, statutory procedures and other claims which might result;
  • understand the practicalities, evidential burden and how best to handle appeals;
  • deal with any "tricky situations" which might arise.

Half day.
